Welcome Our graduate students are mentored in the latest research methods and fields of academic inquiry in a dynamic scholarly community, leading to fulfilling careers. Full-time students hold graduate teaching assistantships and receive tuition remission and a stipend. Summer funding is granted to over 90% of our students for online teaching, study abroad work, or research. Leadership development opportunities abound through our graduate student organization (GSO) which collaborates on the oversight of our research colloquium, professional development workshops, and Crossroads conference. Our recent alumni are thriving— at UGA, they now work in offices such as OGE, Faculty Affairs, and the Center for International Trade and Security. In secondary education many rise to leadership roles like Director of World Languages at Hilton Head Preparatory and Dean of Students at Paideia in Atlanta. Others pursue careers in AI training, ed tech, and industry. Many hold faculty and administrative positions at institutions such as UNC, Morehouse, Spelman, Emory, Brown, UChicago, Georgetown, and Rutgers. Program Information and Resources
