African filmmaker Abderrahmane Sissako will visit Atlanta on Nov. 6 and 7, sponsored by UGA's Willson Center for Humanities and Arts, the French Consulate, and the Bronze Lens Film Festival.

Congratulations to Dr. Susan Quinlan, Portuguese professor in the Department of Romance Languages, who received the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award at the Kentucky Foreign Languages Conference!

Dr. Fuad Elhage, French and Spanish instructor in the Department of Romance Languages, is participating in the Dancing with the Athens Stars event in order to raise funds for Project Safe, an organization dedicated to helping women and children who have suffered domestic abuse.
