The Department of Romance Languages at the University of Georgia announces the publication of a special issue of the Bulletin of the Comediantes, titled Recovering Black Performance in Early Modern Iberia, prepared with support from a Collaborative Research Grant of the National Endowment for the Humanities. The Mellon Global Georgia Project of the Willson Center for the Humanities and Arts provided crucial matching funds.

This project benefited at every stage of its development from the collaboration of Romance Language graduate students and recent PhDs. The issue is now available online through Project Muse (https://muse.jhu.edu/issue/48583), which is accessible through the University of Georgia libraries (https://www.libs.uga.edu/).

For more information or to request a print copy, contact Elizabeth Wright (wrighte@uga.edu).
