ROML Graduate Joy Peltier Wins ACLS Fellowship

Romance Languages B.A. and M.A. graduate (2017) and former Foundation Fellow Joy Peltier, now Assistant Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature and Linguistics Program at the University of South Carolina, has won a highly competitive and prestigious research fellowship from the American Council of Learned Societies. Peltier's 2024-25 fellowship project focuses on pragmatic markers in Kwéyòl Donmnik (Dominica Creole).
